About The Position

TEKsystems is seeking a motivated, technically versatile Lab Equipment Deployment Technician to support technology initiatives across a campus. The technician will assist with hands-on equipment deployment, device installation, inventory management, hardware setup, and lab implementation. This is an early-career opportunity to gain enterprise healthcare IT experience while supporting high-visibility infrastructure and technology projects.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes.
• Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfort with hands-on technical work, learning new technologies, and assisting across different tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting healthcare environments, hospitals, or large enterprise organizations.
• Experience with device deployment projects, hardware refreshes, or technology implementations.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and asset management tools.
• Skills or experience with deployment, hardware, troubleshooting, desktop support, imaging, healthcare, installation, asset management, Active Directory, Windows, inventory, configuration, Windows 10, ServiceNow, migration, or PC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Unbox, stage, and deploy lab equipment.
• Track and maintain inventory of hardware and peripherals.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate issues as needed.
• Document completed work and maintain asset records.
• Work with hospital staff and project teams to support successful project execution.
