About The Position

TRM Labs provides AI-powered intelligence solutions that help public and private sector agencies investigate and disrupt crime. The Deployment Strategist team helps government and law enforcement customers get value from TRM’s intelligence platforms after a deal closes. Supporting public sector law enforcement customers, the Deployment Strategist serves as a trusted advisor to state, local, campus, and federal investigators as they trace illicit funds, adopt workflows, and build cases. The role combines blockchain intelligence expertise with hands-on customer partnership. The strategist manages a portfolio of law enforcement customers, delivers product onboarding and broader blockchain and investigative training, and brings customer feedback to Product and Engineering. The role partners closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and TRM Academy. It is fully remote, with core working-hour overlap during North American business hours, occasional travel in the United States and Canada, and an on-call weekend about once per month after ramp. The team operates in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment, with frequent collaboration, changing priorities, ambiguity, and an emphasis on customer outcomes. Work rhythms include weekly customer syncs, bi-weekly team and leadership health syncs, regular Sales squad calls, asynchronous Slack check-ins, quarterly business reviews, and customer webinars.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in public sector work, ideally in law enforcement, financial crime, or a related investigative capacity.
  • Comfort supporting active law enforcement investigations involving money laundering, financial crime, sanctions evasion, and fraud.
  • Practical, hands-on experience with blockchain analysis and virtual currencies, ideally in an investigative context.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency, including a specific workflow built or automated beyond document summarization and the outcome it produced.
  • Ability to use AI tools to scale a growing book of business while recognizing when customers need direct, unscripted human support.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the trusted advisor for a portfolio of law enforcement customers, helping investigators use TRM’s platform to build stronger cases involving money laundering, fraud, and sanctions evasion.
  • Deliver product onboarding and broader blockchain and investigative training to customers as part of TRM’s instructor cadre.
  • Communicate customer feedback and investigator pain points to Product and Engineering to inform the roadmap.
  • Coordinate regularly with Sales on customer renewals and expansion efforts.
  • Own day-to-day account calls and escalate larger strategic account decisions to team leadership.
  • Provide on-call coverage about one weekend per month after ramp, checking Slack and Intercom periodically for urgent customer issues.
