Deployment Strategist
About The Position
The Deployment Strategist will lead enterprise implementations for a hyper-growth AI startup working in insurance and claims. The role combines technical problem-solving with executive-facing client ownership: the strategist will lead war rooms with demanding enterprise stakeholders and work directly in underlying data models to make implementations succeed. Deployments are a constraint on the company’s growth, and this function is being built from scratch. The role will define how enterprise implementations run rather than follow an established process, making it a formative and highly exposed position. The role is based in San Francisco and is fully in person.
Requirements
- Two to five years of experience in roles combining technical depth, structured problem solving, and client ownership.
- A genuinely technical background, such as a computer science or similarly technical degree, or early software engineering experience.
- Consulting, deployment, solutions, or implementation experience in a high-performance environment.
- Exceptional communication and client presence with senior stakeholders.
- Strong structured thinking and the ability to decompose complex work into executable plans.
- High agency and a steep growth trajectory.
- Based in San Francisco for an in-person role.

Responsibilities
- Own enterprise deployments end to end, from kickoff through production.
- Lead war rooms with senior, demanding stakeholders up to VP level.
- Work directly in technical data models to resolve implementation problems.
- Break complex implementations into clear, sequenced execution plans.
- Build the deployment function’s processes and standards from scratch.
