About The Position

Spectral Labs is building foundation models for engineering physical systems and is hiring a Deployment Strategist to identify where its models can have the greatest impact within customers’ engineering organizations and ensure deployments deliver results. The role involves spending time on-site with mechanical, simulation, and manufacturing engineers to understand their workflows, identifying the first problem to address, and working with forward deployed engineers to scope and ship deployments. The strategist will train teams, measure outcomes, present results and next steps to audiences ranging from individual engineers to VPs of Engineering, build demos for prospective customers, scope work in new industries, and bring field learnings back to research and product. This is a fully in-person position at the company’s San Francisco office, with frequent travel to customer sites (approximately 25–50%). Applicants must currently be based in the United States. The company cannot sponsor visas for this role. Base salary, equity, and bonus total $150,000–$220,000 annually.

Requirements

Comfort working with data and sufficient programming ability to work with it directly using Python or SQL.
Persistence in investigating problems beyond the first answer.
Sound judgment in open-ended situations with little structure.
A low-ego focus on outcomes.
Must currently be based in the United States.
Must be able to work fully in person at the San Francisco office and travel frequently to customer sites (approximately 25–50%).

Nice To Haves

An engineering degree.
Experience as a CAD or simulation user.
Experience in consulting or customer-facing technical work.

Responsibilities
