Deployment Operations Coordinator

Archer•San Jose, CA

About The Position

Archer’s AI Products organization builds consumer software for the general aviation industry. The Deployment Operations Coordinator identifies, researches, and secures host locations near airports for Vantage receiver installations. The role serves as the first point of contact with prospective host businesses, researching candidate sites, contacting property owners and operators, negotiating hosting agreements, and handing documented, install-ready sites to the Deployment Engineering team. The position also supports backend administration that keeps the deployment pipeline moving, including outreach tracking, agreement and paperwork processing, and scheduling coordination between hosts and the field team. It combines site research, phone and email outreach, and follow-through from initial contact through signed agreement and installation readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Identify candidate businesses near target airports that may be suitable for Vantage receiver hosting, considering rooftop access, line of sight, and power availability.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective host sites, researching ownership, decision-makers, and site suitability before outreach.
  • Cold-call and email property and business owners to present the hosting opportunity, answer questions, and advance interested parties toward an agreement.
  • Track outreach activity, responses, and pipeline status in a CRM or tracking system.
  • Draft, send, and track hosting agreements and related paperwork through signature.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including contact information, agreement status, site specifications, and access or logistics notes.
  • Coordinate scheduling and hand off signed, installation-ready sites to the Deployment Engineering team.
  • Support program administration, including reporting pipeline metrics, maintaining site databases, and flagging bottlenecks.
  • Liaise between host businesses and Archer’s field team before and after installation, including answering initial site-walk questions, coordinating access, and following up.
  • Communicate professionally and persistently with businesses that may be unfamiliar with the technology or hesitant to host equipment.
