About The Position

Turing is hiring an Enterprise AI Deployment Architect to own deployment architecture for client cloud, dedicated, sovereign, and other customer-controlled environments. The role focuses on enabling secure and reliable deployment of AI systems in regulated enterprises, including defining security controls, compliance evidence, and deployment patterns that help systems pass vendor reviews and reach production. The architect works directly with client security, infrastructure, and compliance teams, including bank and government information security organizations, and translates their requirements into practical technical and operational decisions. The position is based in the Madison Square Park area of New York City and follows a hybrid work model with regular in-office presence. It reports to the Head of Engineering, Enterprise AI.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of experience in security engineering or cloud architecture, including experience at a regulated company or a vendor that sells into regulated enterprises.
  • Personally led a vendor security review through approval at a global bank, government body, or similarly regulated institution.
  • Experience leading a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 program and producing technical evidence for external review.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP security architecture, including landing zones, private networking, KMS, and air-gapped deployment patterns.
  • Experience with Kubernetes security, including pod security, admission control, and image signing.
  • Experience with federation with client identity providers, privileged access, and key custody.
  • Ability to assess risks across agents, connectors, prompt injection, data exfiltration, and software supply chains, and communicate practical mitigations to technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience designing and operating infrastructure and cloud security systems; application security or GRC-only experience without hands-on infrastructure experience is insufficient.
  • Experience working directly with clients and leading security conversations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience delivering sovereign cloud or data residency solutions.
  • Experience with Saudi, European Union, or other complex regulatory environments.
  • Experience supporting security reviews for financial institutions or government customers.
  • Experience building security controls into infrastructure and CI systems.

Responsibilities

  • Create secure reference architectures for customer cloud environments, dedicated instances, sovereign deployments, and other customer-controlled environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Define security controls, compliance evidence, and deployment standards for regulated enterprise customers.
  • Lead vendor-review conversations with bank, government, and other regulated enterprise information security teams, translating requirements into technical and operational actions.
  • Help implement policy-as-code guardrails, identity controls, key custody models, admission controls, image signing, and other security mechanisms within the platform and its CI systems.
  • Threat-model risks associated with agents, connectors, prompt injection, data exfiltration, privileged access, and software supply chains.
  • Help establish incident response, vulnerability management, and security operations processes for enterprise deployments.

Benefits

  • Work at the frontier of AI and contribute to work supporting leading AI labs.
  • Contribute to AI research and showcase work at conferences such as ICLR, ICML, and NeurIPS.
  • Apply frontier AI innovation to real-world enterprise challenges.
  • Collaborate with colleagues with AI experience from Google, Meta, Amazon, and other leading technology companies.
  • Work with the speed, ownership, and impact of a startup.
