The Departmental Analyst 9-P11 position is responsible for the review and analysis of applications and financial participation for individuals applying for Children’s Special Health Care Services (CSHCS) program coverage. This role assumes overall responsibility for the management of an assigned caseload of clients with long-term, complex medical needs. The analyst will analyze and interpret program and department policies to make appropriate decisions concerning the caseload. This position serves as the key resource person to carry out CSHCS policies and objectives of promoting community-based, family-centered, coordinated care by providing program expertise and consultation to local public health departments, health care providers, clients, members of the public, and other state agencies.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
  • Departmental Analyst 9: No specific type or amount is required.
  • Departmental Analyst 10: One year of professional experience.
  • Departmental Analyst P11: Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
