About The Position

This position is responsible for the initiation, tracking, reporting, metrics, and closeout of Capital Outlay and Agency Funded Projects. The work involves the utilization, administration, and maintenance of two databases (currently in Microsoft Access), including the Project Information Management System (PIMS) for continuous monitoring of expenditures, project status, and available funding resources, and the DTMB 400 tracker for project-specific administrative information. This role is also responsible for processing DTMB 400 Project Request Forms (Work Orders and Miscellaneous Operating Projects), which includes reviewing documentation for accuracy, obtaining necessary management and Financial Services signatures, and entering the information into PIMS and other databases to generate various reports. Additionally, this position serves as the liaison to the Program, Strategies, and Solutions Division of SFA for the creation and maintenance of metric dashboards for all contract processes, and for the coordination and monitoring of project closeout documents and the collection of administrative fees.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
  • Departmental Analyst 9: No specific type or amount is required.
  • Departmental Analyst 10: One year of professional experience.
  • Departmental Analyst P11: Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
  • Official transcript must bear the college/university certification (e.g., seal, logo, watermark, and /or letterhead), Registrar's signature, and date.
  • A transcript with these requirements, with the stamp "Issued to Student" is accepted as an official transcript.
  • The official transcript must be scanned and attached to the electronic NEOGOV Civil Service application with one of the following file extensions: pdf, doc, docx, txt, or rft.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States within three business days of beginning employment.
  • DTMB Human Resources uses E-Verify in conjunction with the federal I-9 form to verify authorization of employment.
