About The Position
As a Department Manager at Von Maur, you represent the company and help drive retail growth by building and maintaining relationships, optimizing merchandising, and developing associates to deliver outstanding customer experiences. You lead and coach associates while also performing sales associate duties and meeting individual sales and account goals. The role requires availability for a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts.

- Motivate, train, coach, and lead associates by example to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Build relationships to grow department business.
- Perform sales associate duties and meet individual sales and account goals.
- Assess associate performance to improve customer service, increase sales, and meet department goals.
- Provide associates with feedback on service, selling, and account statistics.
- Develop and implement solutions to address customer problems and department needs.
- Work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts.
