About The Position
As a Department Manager at Von Maur, you represent the company and help uphold its reputation as America’s Leading Department Store. You drive retail growth by building and maintaining relationships, optimizing merchandising, and developing associates to provide top-tier customer experiences. The role includes sales associate duties and individual sales and account goals. You must be available to work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts. Responsibilities
- Motivate associates to deliver outstanding customer service by training, coaching, and leading by example.
- Develop relationships to grow department business.
- Perform all sales associate duties and meet individual sales and account goals.
- Assess associate performance to improve customer service, increase sales, and meet department goals.
- Provide associates with feedback on service, selling, and account statistics.
- Develop and implement solutions to address customer problems and department needs.
- Work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts.
