About The Position

The Department Manager, referred to as a Coach, leads a team at the Nike Factory Store Deer Park. The role combines customer service, team leadership, and retail operations in a high-volume, fast-paced store. The manager coaches and inspires team members to deliver a strong customer experience, feel included and supported, and represent Nike’s brand and culture. The role also supports store growth strategies and community partnerships, and helps bring Nike to life for customers, communities, and colleagues.

Requirements

Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
One year of leadership experience.
Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Proven ability to use tools for conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling.
Ability to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and inspire the team to deliver strong customer experiences and support an inclusive team environment.
Help ensure store functions run seamlessly.
Attract, assess, and onboard future team members to staff the store.
Provide store employees with the tools they need to succeed in their day-to-day responsibilities.
Lead the store team and business results, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, people leadership, and management.
Manage the product life cycle from the stockroom through visual merchandising and onto the sales floor.
Train the team and implement Nike Service Principles.
Use retail expertise to drive store growth strategies and build community partnerships.
