About The Position
As a Shoe Department Manager, you represent Von Maur and help shape its reputation as America’s Leading Department Store. You drive retail growth by building and maintaining relationships, strengthening brand knowledge, and developing associates to provide high-quality customer experiences. You also perform the duties of a shoe sales associate and help the department meet its service, sales, and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Motivate associates to deliver outstanding customer service by training, coaching, and leading by example.
- Develop relationships to grow department business.
- Perform all duties of a shoe sales associate.
- Assess associate performance to improve customer service, increase sales, and meet department goals.
- Provide associates with feedback on service, selling, and account statistics.
- Develop and implement solutions to address customer problems and department needs.
- Work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts.
