About The Position

This role involves assisting with the unloading of incoming trucks and putting away merchandise as directed by management. The individual will execute daily operational goals and priorities assigned by the store manager, moving with an "Ace Pace." Responsibilities include removing promotional bin tags from displays and price tags as required, restocking merchandise displays, and monitoring end caps and side wings. The role also handles special orders for non-stock items and requires never telling a customer no without consulting a manager. Additionally, the position involves watching for shoplifters and acting in accordance with Elder's policy to discourage theft, with an emphasis on excellent customer service as a preventative measure. Responding to radio requests and performing other duties as assigned are also part of the role.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months-1 year of retail experience.
• Technically proficient in computer systems including related software.
• Gather and analyze data and maintain accurate records.
• Take initiative, assume responsibility, and execute thoroughly.
• Interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
• Possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company’s insurance carrier’s standards.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
