Dentist - Liberty Correctional Institution (Bristol, FL)
About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Dentist to provide dental services at Liberty Correctional Institution in Bristol, Florida. The Dentist provides comprehensive professional treatment to meet incarcerated patients’ oral health needs. Services include routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., or Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Centurion provides healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings through contracts with state and local governments.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited university.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- A Florida license is not required; a temporary license is available.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive professional dental treatment to address patients’ oral health needs.
- Perform routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.
