About The Position
Centurion is seeking a Dentist to join its team at the Santa Rosa Correctional Institution Main Facility in Milton, Florida. The Dentist provides comprehensive professional dental treatment to meet the oral health needs of incarcerated patients. Services include routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Centurion provides dental services to the Florida Department of Corrections and contracts with state and local governments nationwide to provide comprehensive healthcare services in correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited university.
- BLS/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive professional dental treatment to address patients’ oral health needs.
- Perform routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.
