Dentist - Wakulla Main Correctional Institution (Crawfordville, FL)
About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Dentist to provide dental services at Wakulla Main Correctional Institution in Crawfordville, Florida. Centurion provides dental services to the Florida Department of Corrections. The Dentist provides comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of incarcerated patients. Care includes routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Centurion contracts with state and local governments nationwide to provide comprehensive healthcare services in correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited university.
- BLS/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive professional dental treatment to address incarcerated patients’ oral health needs.
- Perform routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.
