Requirements
- Graduation from an approved school of dentistry. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
- Possess a license to practice dentistry issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions.
- Must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
Nice To Haves
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
Responsibilities
- Deliver basic dental exams and treatments for individuals in the facility
- Evaluate oral health needs and determine appropriate treatment options
- Coordinate with auxiliary staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Document dental findings and update patient records accurately
- Guide patients on healthy oral care practices
- Develop and implement appropriate dental treatment plans
