Requirements

• Graduation from an approved school of dentistry. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
• Possess a license to practice dentistry issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
• Able to perform essential job functions.
• Pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.

• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic dental exams and treatments for individuals in the facility
• Evaluate oral health needs and determine appropriate treatment options
• Coordinate with auxiliary staff to ensure smooth daily operations
• Document dental findings and update patient records accurately
• Guide patients on healthy oral care practices
• Develop and implement appropriate dental treatment plans
