Military Remote Health Readiness Program: Dentist (Honolulu, HI)
About The Position
Military Evaluation Services (MES) is hiring a part-time 1099 Dentist Examiner to perform dental examinations and imaging for Service Members. The Examiner conducts an interview and dental exam, with possible imaging and treatment if requested; reviews the Veteran's records; records responses and data in a portal; and provides a medical opinion if requested. This work supports the VBA in determining service-connection status and ratings. Treatment, on-call responsibilities, scheduling, and billing are not part of the role. The position requires the Dentist to have their own ADA/OSHA-compliant office.
Requirements
- Have access to your own ADA/OSHA-compliant office.
- At least 2 years of post-graduate dental experience.
- DMD or DDS degree from a regionally accredited university.
- Current, unrestricted state practitioner's license with no pending criminal case.
- Submit a curriculum vitae or resume.
- Complete credentialing forms and submit additional documents within 2 calendar days of the credentialing invitation.
- Complete required VA video module training.
- Meet other requirements established by credentialing and hiring agencies that comply with company, local, state, and federal standards or policies.
Nice To Haves
- Experience conducting C&P exams.
