About The Position

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a compassionate, experienced part-time Dentist to provide high-quality dental care to elderly patients in Los Angeles, California. The role focuses on patient-centered care that respects patients’ comfort, dignity, and individual needs while supporting their oral health. This independent contractor opportunity may suit a dentist looking to supplement an existing schedule and income while serving underserved populations.

CMC brings portable dental services directly to healthcare facilities and provides state-of-the-art equipment, supplies, a dental assistant, and administrative support such as scheduling and billing. The provider can focus on patient care. The schedule is typically 4–8 visits per month, with availability on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Visits are typically from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Compensation is $800 per visit.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
• Current California dental license and any required certifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trust and rapport with elderly patients.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with healthcare teams.

• Experience in geriatric dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care to elderly patients, including routine examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, dentures, and other appropriate procedures.
• Conduct oral health assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and recommend appropriate care based on each patient’s needs.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care tailored to aging populations.
• Collaborate with facility staff to coordinate care and support positive patient outcomes.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment while accommodating patients’ physical and cognitive limitations.
