About The Position

Pediatric Dentistry of Kingston is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and energetic Dental Hygienist to join its child- and family-focused practice in Kingston, NY. The role involves providing preventive dental care and oral health education to children and families while helping maintain a safe, welcoming clinical environment. The position is part-time, working Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility. Occasional travel to other offices within a reasonable distance may be requested.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene.
• Valid New York State Dental Hygienist license.
• Excellent communication and patient rapport skills.
• Team-oriented, cheerful, and professional attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric dental experience.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleanings and fluoride treatments, and apply sealants.
• Conduct oral health assessments and screenings.
• Educate children and families on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Accurately record patient medical and dental histories.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and kid-friendly clinical environment.
• Collaborate with dentists, assistants, and front office staff.
• Provide occasional front desk support as needed.
