About The Position

International Community Health Services (ICHS) is a nationally recognized community health center that has provided medical, dental, and wellness care for over 50 years to individuals and families from many backgrounds, including people who face significant barriers to care. ICHS emphasizes a team-based approach and values respect, collaboration, and compassion.

The Dental Hygienist assists dentists with preventative care for dental patients and provides treatment and care of the mouth, teeth, and gums. This is an on-call position that requires working across ICHS sites as needed, including International District, Holly Park, Bellevue, Shoreline, and Union Gospel Mission.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Active Washington State Dental Hygiene License.

Nice To Haves

• One year of work experience preferred.
• Work experience in a multilingual/multicultural setting preferred.
• Bilingual in English and an API language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists in providing preventative care for dental patients.
• Provide treatment and care of the mouth, teeth, and gums.
• Work across ICHS sites as needed: International District, Holly Park, Bellevue, Shoreline, and Union Gospel Mission.
