About The Position
Maple Shade Dental is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist in East Peoria, Illinois, to provide a high level of patient care and satisfaction in a team-based clinical environment. The practice provides comprehensive, personalized care in a warm and welcoming setting, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health. The Dental Hygienist delivers routine cleanings, assessments, and patient education while supporting a team of dental professionals.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene.
- Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
- Local anesthesia certification and CPR/First Aid certification, if applicable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to patient care and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental cleanings and oral health assessments.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Assist dentists with examinations and treatments, and take dental X-rays.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Adhere to sterilization protocols.
