About The Position

Dental365 is hiring a Dental Hygienist for Premier Care Family Dental in Hamburg, Pennsylvania. The role provides patient-centered dental hygiene care in a contemporary practice designed for comfort, safety, and high-quality care. The practice offers one-hour recall appointments and a supportive environment that emphasizes health over sales, without production quotas. Hygienists may also benefit from growth opportunities supported by the Hygiene Executive Committee.

The schedule listed for the practice is Monday through Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Benefits are available for full-time employees working 30 or more hours weekly, with some benefits also available to part-time employees.

Requirements

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• Exceptional working knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, including dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and meticulous documentation.
• Any additional certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge-level patient care with exceptional chairside manner and build trust with patients.
• Identify signs of periodontal disease or potential oral cancers to support patients’ overall oral health.
• Document and review patient medical histories and chief complaints.
• Take X-rays and intraoral images to assist with treatment planning and document progress or changes.
• Perform oral hygiene procedures in accordance with treatment plans prescribed by the attending dentist.
• Respond to sudden adverse developments during treatment by handling emergency measures proficiently.
• Provide instructions for at-home care and oral health maintenance.
