About The Position

Woodville Dental Care is hiring a Dental Hygienist to provide patient-centered dental care in a contemporary practice environment. The role includes one-hour recall appointments and emphasizes quality care, patient comfort, safety, and compliance. The practice schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and Friday, 7:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.; adjustments to the schedule may be discussed. Requirements

• Hold an active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the respective state.
• Hold current CPR (BLS) certification.
• Have exceptional working knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, including dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and meticulous documentation.
• Hold any additional certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge-level patient care with excellent chairside manner and build patient trust.
• Identify signs of periodontal disease and potential oral cancers to support patients’ overall oral health.
• Document and review patient medical histories and chief complaints.
• Take X-rays and intraoral images to aid treatment planning and document progress or changes.
• Perform oral hygiene procedures according to treatment plans prescribed by the attending dentist.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies or sudden adverse developments during patient treatment.
• Provide instructions for at-home care and oral health maintenance.
