About The Position

Manhattan Dental Arts is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to provide comprehensive preventive and hygiene care in a modern, collaborative dental practice. The practice offers one-hour recall appointments and one-hour new-patient visits, with scaling and root planing scheduled according to patient needs and severity. The hygienist will work alongside a tenured team in a supportive environment that emphasizes advanced technology and personalized patient care. The position pays $60 per hour and is scheduled Tuesday through Friday.

Requirements

• Active New York dental hygiene license, or a license in process; new graduates are welcome.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience providing comprehensive hygiene care, including periodontal charting, digital X-rays, prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, patient education, fluoride treatments, and preventive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including periodontal charting, digital X-rays, prophylaxis, and scaling and root planing.
• Educate patients and provide fluoride treatments and preventive care.
• Deliver care during one-hour recall appointments and one-hour new-patient visits.
• Perform scaling and root planing according to patient needs and severity.
