About The Position

Manhattan Dental Arts is seeking a patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to provide comprehensive hygiene care in a modern, collaborative dental practice. The practice offers one-hour recall appointments and one-hour new-patient visits, with scaling and root planing (SRP) scheduled according to patient needs and severity. Hygienists work with advanced dental technology and a tenured team in a supportive, energetic environment. New graduates are welcome, and candidates with a New York dental hygiene license in process may apply.

Requirements

• Active New York Dental Hygiene License, or a license in process; new graduates are welcome.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience providing comprehensive hygiene care, including periodontal charting, digital X-rays, prophylaxis, SRP, patient education, fluoride treatments, and preventive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including periodontal charting, digital X-rays, prophylaxis, and scaling and root planing (SRP).
• Educate patients and provide fluoride treatments and preventive care.
• Schedule SRP according to patient needs and severity.
• Deliver patient-focused care and communicate effectively with patients and team members.
