About The Position

Affordable Dentures & Implants is hiring a part-time Dental Front Desk Assistant for 2–3 days per week — ideal if you're semi-retired, balancing family, working a second role, or simply want meaningful work without a five-day commitment. You'll be the first point of contact for our patients: a friendly, organized, customer-focused professional who helps create an exceptional patient experience while supporting a team dedicated to transforming lives through high-quality tooth replacement solutions. Requirements

  • 2+ years of dental front office or dental receptionist experience required
  • Previous experience scheduling patients in a dental practice
  • Experience using Dentrix preferred
  • CareCredit experience preferred
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment planning, and patient scheduling
  • Experience managing the full dental insurance process preferred — verification, benefit review, claim submission, pre-authorizations, payment posting, claim follow-up, and patient financial communication
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable working independently and picking up where the team left off between your scheduled days
  • Positive attitude with a team-first mindset

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients with professionalism and compassion, creating an exceptional first impression
  • Check patients in and out while maintaining efficient patient flow
  • Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries on treatment, scheduling, pricing, financing, and office policies
  • Verify and maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix
  • Process payments, collect balances, and reconcile daily transactions
  • Discuss financing options, including CareCredit, when appropriate
  • Assist patients with insurance documentation and claim information
  • Follow up with prospective patients and encourage scheduling
  • Order and maintain office supplies and administrative materials
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the practice
