About The Position

University Dental Associates (UDA) is a Doctor Owned, Doctor Led practice focused on providing patients with high-level care in an atmosphere of respect, team engagement, and positive energy. UDA is seeking a Dental Assistant who is an important and valued member of the patient care team. Under the guidance of dentists, the Dental Assistant is responsible for performing clinical duties necessary to facilitate treatment and care. This includes preparing operatories, running sterilization, assisting the provider during treatment, educating patients on oral healthcare, and managing equipment and supplies. The role also involves administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records, all contributing to the office's mission of providing excellent patient care.

Requirements

  • Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program or Six months on-the-job experience (with supporting documentation)
  • Dental Assistant certification
  • X-Ray certification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control trainings as required by law

Nice To Haves

  • Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended

Responsibilities
