About The Position

The Dental Assistant is an important member of the clinical team, working alongside general practitioners and other specialty clinicians to serve patients. The role supports multiple aspects of the practice, including greeting and guiding patients and helping throughout the office as needed. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation is $21–$25 per hour.

Requirements

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for assigned duties in the state of employment (such as RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state).
• Have current CPR/BLS certification or be able to obtain it before the start date.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures.
• Help educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies.
• Support the practice and clinical team, including greeting and guiding patients and helping across the office as needed.
• Contribute to improving oral health, solving dental challenges, and bettering patients’ smiles.
