About The Position

Join the team as a part-time Registered Dental Assistant in a supportive, team-oriented dental practice. The role supports dentists and helps provide exceptional patient care and positive dental experiences. The assistant works closely with providers, builds relationships with patients, and contributes to a collaborative office culture. The schedule is Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., plus one Friday per month from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Compensation is listed as 30.00; no pay period or currency is specified. Requirements

Meet state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for assigned duties, such as RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or an equivalent credential as required by the state of employment.
Hold current CPR/BLS certification or be able to obtain it before the start date.
Have knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards.
Demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and supplies are ready for patient care.
Take and process dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Follow infection control and sterilization protocols.
Support a positive, welcoming, and efficient office environment.
