About The Position

Lennon Dental & Associates is hiring a Dental Assistant to help provide compassionate, patient-centered dental care in a modern practice environment. The role involves assisting the dentist with procedures, supporting patients throughout their visits, and maintaining safe, clean treatment spaces. The practice emphasizes patient care, a supportive team culture, and opportunities for professional growth without production-quota pressure. A $2,500 welcoming bonus is offered to the right candidate. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and one Saturday per month, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The salary range is $25–$29 per hour. Benefits listed as available to full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week include health and vision insurance options, a 401(k) with employer matching, paid time off, an annual self-care day, discounted in-house dental services for the employee and immediate family, and an annual scrub allowance. Some benefits may also be available to part-time employees.

Requirements

At least 1 year of prior dental assisting experience.
Any certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.
A resume demonstrating a consistent and stable employment history.
Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.
Assist the dentist with a variety of procedures.
Take digital radiographs and intraoral scans as prescribed.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection-control requirements.
Sanitize and prepare operatories for treatments.
Follow OSHA and safety policies to maintain a secure and healthy environment.
Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed.
Perform office tasks as necessary.
