About The Position

Nesco Resource is seeking Denali Grinders to form medical device components through manual assembly and the use of various machines. The role involves operating computer-based machining work centers and related equipment, performing tasks according to customer-specific requirements and documented instructions, and producing components that meet quality standards. Candidates must be able to sit and stand for extended periods, follow written work instructions, and accurately complete required documentation. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity in Bethel, Connecticut, working 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Pay is $23.56 per hour ($19.00 per hour plus a 24% shift differential).

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Microscope skills experience.
Experience using micrometers, gages, and calipers.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
Ability to follow written work instructions and accurately complete required documentation.

Responsibilities

Operate computer-based machining work centers and related equipment.
Perform simple- to medium-complexity tasks according to customer-specific process requirements and documented instructions.
Form parts using manual labor requiring up to 10 pounds of force.
Set up and adjust equipment to required specifications.
Follow work instructions, read and complete router steps, and accurately complete identification labels.
Verify system conditions or equipment status before operation.
Inspect components to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
Demonstrate awareness of departmental quality goals and maintain high workmanship.
Enter required data into systems and maintain accurate documentation.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
