About The Position

The Ext Grinder supports the production environment by managing scrap generated by the Extrusion and Thermoforming departments. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity and collaborates with the operations team. The Ext Grinder reports directly to the Supervisor.

The schedule is either 6:45 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 6:45 p.m.–7:00 a.m., working four days on and four days off. The position is based in Plant City, Florida, and pays $19.88 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to follow strict personal protective equipment requirements, including face shields, earmuffs, gloves, and steel-toe boots.
• Forklift and clamp truck driving experience; on-site certification will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage scrap produced by the Extrusion and Thermoforming departments.
• Place scrap directly into scrap trailers and keep it off the warehouse floor.
• Communicate and coordinate with the shipping department to schedule scrap and roll trucks.
• Maintain effective communication across teams to support operational needs.
