Demand Generation Specialist

About The Position

The Demand Generation Specialist establishes and manages the process for converting engagement from channel marketing programs into identified, filtered, and trackable opportunities. The role embeds demand capture into events, training, content, campaigns, and partner activation; defines identification and handoff standards with Sales; and measures how activities contribute to pipeline and channel growth. The specialist owns demand attribution process design and performance visibility. Sales and distributors remain accountable for opportunity management, commercial follow-up, and revenue conversion. The position is hybrid, working 2–3 days per week at 200 Twin Oaks Road in Kohler, Wisconsin, with approximately 20% travel. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring new or transferred visa sponsorship now or in the future. The salary range is $76,050–$96,050; the specific offer may depend on experience, education, and work location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business communications, or a relevant field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in B2B marketing, with meaningful exposure to demand or lead generation within marketing operations.
  • Experience building or managing lead scoring, identification criteria, or lead handoff processes between marketing and Sales.
  • Working proficiency with a CRM or marketing automation platform for tracking lead source, volume, and conversion; Salesforce is preferred, and examples include Salesforce, HubSpot, and Marketo.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and reporting program performance to internal stakeholders.
  • Experience translating engagement activity such as training, events, and content into lead signals, rather than relying solely on outbound or paid lead generation.
  • Demonstrated experience with tools such as Power BI, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and Microsoft 365 products.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring new or transferred visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial or durable-goods background involving long, technical, consultative sales cycles.
  • Exposure to a business undergoing a commercial model shift, such as moving from channel-led to channel-driven, and related marketing operations.
  • Experience in a channel or distributor sales model where leads pass through a third-party sales force rather than a direct sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Build lead-capture and processing mechanisms into new and existing activation and engagement programs, translating participation into measurable sales pipeline within Rehlko’s CRM and opportunity registration systems.
  • Partner with sales leadership to define lead-identification criteria and a shared standard for sales-ready leads.
  • Manage the lead handoff process between channel marketing and Sales to support a smooth transition from marketing engagement to sales follow-up.
  • Analyze program engagement signals to identify activities that indicate reliable buying intent and advise the team on effective lead capture.
  • Report regularly on lead volume, source, and quality to provide visibility into program performance and effectiveness.
  • Evaluate program results to inform where future demand-generation investment may have the greatest impact.
  • Maintain an ongoing feedback loop with Sales about lead quality and keep identification criteria aligned with market and channel conditions.
