Demand Generation Manager

Footprint•New York, NY
•$135,000 - $165,000

About The Position

Footprint is hiring a Demand Generation Manager to build and own the programs that capture and nurture demand into qualified pipeline. The role focuses on paid search and social, SEO and AEO, lifecycle email, funnel conversion, and measurement. The position will establish these programs from the first campaign and connect brand and field marketing investments—including events—to the pipeline they produce. The manager will run campaigns hands-on, set channel strategy and budgets, improve conversion from ad click through booked meeting, and develop reporting and attribution with analytics, starting in HubSpot. The role partners with the team responsible for the website, design, sales, post-sales, and events, and presents performance and plans to leadership. AI tools such as Claude and Clay are part of the daily workflow, with an expectation to automate recurring tasks. The role reports directly to VP of Marketing Elisabeth Falvey. Footprint describes itself as a small, senior team that ships quickly. Success is defined by launching paid and lifecycle programs on a steady testing cadence and making campaign-to-meeting visibility available to sales within 90 days, then establishing demand generation as a predictable source of qualified pipeline with known cost per opportunity by channel within one year.

  • Experience marketing to B2B audiences with long sales cycles, where qualified pipeline is the key measure.
  • Daily use of AI tools for analysis, drafting and testing creative, and shipping pages faster, with examples of the impact.
  • Strong writing skills for briefs, ad copy, and actionable analyses.
  • Ability to thrive amid ambiguity, work independently, make decisions without a playbook, and manage multiple initiatives.
  • Attention to craft and detail, curiosity about AI and financial regulation, and a collaborative, organized, and kind approach.
