About The Position

We are seeking a Demand Generation Executive to drive top-of-funnel engagement with cardiologists and practice leadership across Karoo's target markets. This is a front-line, high-activity role for someone early in their career who is motivated by building a pipeline from scratch, comfortable on the phone, and eager to learn the healthcare landscape. You will work closely alongside our VP of Network Development, supporting outbound efforts and helping convert market awareness into qualified conversations.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or outbound marketing
  • Experience conducting primary research and building prospect lists
  • Comfortable making cold calls and engaging unfamiliar audiences with confidence
  • Strong written communication skills — able to craft outreach that gets responses
  • CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up habits

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to physician practices, specialty care, or a clinical services environment
  • Familiarity with cardiology or cardiovascular services
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Execute outbound outreach campaigns via phone, email, and digital channels targeting cardiologists, practice administrators, and physician group leadership
  • Make cold and warm calls to provider offices to introduce Karoo and qualify interest
  • Draft and send personalized email sequences and follow-up communications
  • Assist in planning and executing outbound recruitment campaigns, including webinar and event-based initiatives
  • Monitor engagement metrics and help optimize messaging over time
  • Communicate effectively with practice administrators, office managers, and physicians
  • Develop familiarity with provider workflow, revenue cycle considerations, and operational challenges
  • Capture and document feedback, objections, and competitive mentions from prospect conversations to help refine messaging and inform the team's approach
  • Surface patterns from field activity — who's engaging, who isn't, and why — to continuously sharpen targeting and outreach strategy
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and healthcare compliance awareness in all provider-facing interactions
  • Log all outreach activity accurately in CRM and maintain clean prospect records
  • Track follow-up tasks and ensure consistent cadence with prospects
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for meetings handed off to the VP of Network Development
