Delivery Truck Driver - Non CDL
About The Position
Ferguson is hiring a non-CDL Delivery Truck Driver to deliver materials to customers and support warehouse operations. The role includes helping load and unload deliveries, handling customer returns, inspecting and maintaining the truck, and assisting with order preparation and incoming materials. The position involves warehouse work and requires compliance with company safety procedures and DOT requirements. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with no nights or weekends indicated; overtime may be needed. Compensation is listed as starting at $26, potentially higher based on experience, with a stated pay range of $17.95–$30.03 per hour and bonus or incentive plan eligibility.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
- Currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
- Be able to lift items weighing over 50 lbs.
- Communicate effectively and take a customer-focused approach.
- Be able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
- Be able to work overtime as needed.
- Complete pre-employment drug and background screening.

- Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver materials to customers, assist with loading and unloading, and ensure the delivery ticket accompanies the material.
- Pick up customer returns and validate that products match credit requests.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems or issues to a supervisor.
- Follow and implement company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed.
- Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material.
- Use required personal protective equipment, including a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
