About The Position

Ferguson is hiring a non-CDL delivery truck driver to deliver materials to customers and assist with loading and unloading. The role also includes picking up customer returns and helping warehouse staff prepare orders and handle incoming materials. Drivers perform truck inspections, fuel the vehicle as needed, report issues, and follow company safety procedures. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with no nights or weekends and overtime as needed. Starting pay is $20 per hour and may be higher based on experience; the listed pay range is $16.39–$24.58 per hour. The position is eligible for a bonus or incentive plan.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
Ability to lift items weighing over 50 lbs.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery.

Responsibilities

Deliver materials to customers, assist with loading and unloading, and ensure the delivery ticket accompanies the material.
Pick up customer returns and validate that products match credit requests.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems or issues to a supervisor.
Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, and with receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material.
Work overtime as needed.
Follow safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
