About The Position

Ferguson is hiring a non-CDL Delivery Truck Driver to deliver materials to customers and support warehouse operations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 6 a.m. and continuing until work is finished, approximately 2–3 p.m. The role offers daily home time with no nights or weekends, and may require overtime as needed.

The driver assists with loading and unloading, ensures delivery tickets accompany materials, picks up customer returns, and completes truck inspections. The position also supports warehouse order preparation and the receiving, verification, staging, and stocking of incoming materials. Drivers must follow DOT requirements and company safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
• Be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
• Complete pre-employment drug and background screening.

Nice To Haves

• Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers, assist with loading and unloading, and ensure the delivery ticket accompanies the material.
• Pick up customer returns and validate that products match credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems or issues to a supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed.
• Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Follow safety regulations, including correct use of personal protective equipment.
