About The Position

ABC Supply is seeking a non-CDL Delivery Truck Driver to deliver building products safely and professionally. The driver is responsible for the safety of each delivery from departure from the facility through completion at the job site. The position includes customer service, delivery documentation, vehicle and load checks, unloading materials in coordination with a Delivery Material Handler, and collecting payment on COD deliveries. Warehouse loading and unloading work may also be assigned. This position does not require a CDL or over-the-road travel, and the driver is home every night.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Medical Card.
• Ability to lift 75–100 pounds.
• Completion of pre-employment and random drug screens is required.

Nice To Haves

• Box truck experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone at each job site.
• Follow the assigned delivery schedule and job directives precisely.
• Document each delivery by taking and uploading photos using the camera phone system.
• Complete a load check before leaving the branch, confirming materials are secure and the truck complies with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Work with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to place materials and unload them.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately and on time.
• Provide customers with an invoice after each delivery and collect the full amount due on COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work as assigned, including loading and unloading materials from trucks or into the warehouse.
