About The Position

The Non-CDL Local Delivery Truck Driver is responsible for delivering products to customers and providing good customer service. Duties may include loading the truck, collecting payments, picking up inbound product, and processing paperwork and returned product after completing the route. The driver also completes pre-trip and post-trip paperwork, fueling, and logs, and communicates issues to customers and management as needed.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of driving experience; 1 year preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• A Class C driver’s license, minimum.
• A driving record that meets company insurability standards.
• Attention to detail.
• Good customer service skills.
• Safety-consciousness.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to use a hand truck and pallet jacks.

Nice To Haves

• Route delivery experience preferred over over-the-road (OTR) driving experience.
• 1 year of driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers.
• Process paperwork and returned product upon completion of the route.
• May load product onto the truck.
• Provide good customer service.
