About The Position

The Non-CDL Local Delivery Truck Driver is responsible for delivering products to customers and providing good customer service. Duties may include loading products onto the truck, collecting payments, and picking up inbound products as needed. After completing a route, the driver processes paperwork and returned products, and completes pre-trip and post-trip paperwork, fueling, and logs. The driver communicates issues to customers and management as needed.

This opportunity is with North Star Seafood, LLC, a Sysco company. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of driving experience; 1 year is preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• A minimum of a Class C driver's license.
• A driving record that meets company insurability standards.
• Attention to detail.
• Good customer service skills.
• A safety-conscious approach.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to use a hand truck and pallet jacks.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Route delivery experience is preferred over over-the-road (OTR) driving experience.
• One year of driving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
