About The Position

The Delivery Supervisor oversees daily delivery operations, including planning and scheduling driver schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. The role promotes employee engagement and a workplace culture where employees feel valued and motivated. It monitors driver performance and KPIs to achieve quality standards, productivity goals, and department targets. The supervisor also ensures compliance with company policies and applicable regulations and safety standards, including DOT and OSHA requirements, and maintains positive internal and external customer relationships to improve delivery efficiency and meet business objectives. Other projects or duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Associate degree with 3 to 4+ years of related experience and 0 to 1+ years of supervisory experience; or high school diploma/GED with 5+ years of specific experience and 1 to 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• CDL Class A license or willingness to obtain one within a specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily delivery operations, planning and scheduling, including driver schedules and routes, to ensure deliveries are completed on time.
• Foster employee engagement and establish and sustain a culture where employees feel valued and motivated.
• Monitor driver performance and KPIs, address performance gaps, and ensure quality standards and productivity goals are achieved.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and safety and health standards, including DOT and OSHA requirements, through safety audits, adherence to protocols, and awareness of regulatory changes.
• Coordinate and adjust driver routes daily to balance delivery schedules, customer demands, service hours, and workload, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
• Maintain positive internal and external customer relationships through regular communication and collaboration to improve delivery efficiency and meet business objectives.
• Perform other projects or duties as assigned.
