Delivery Route Driver - Augusta, ME
About The Position
Xerox is hiring a full-time Delivery Route Driver to deliver equipment in Augusta and other listed Maine locations. The driver loads, secures, delivers, installs, and collects equipment at customer locations, performs basic equipment setup, and provides customer service and basic customer training. The role also includes general technical tasks, such as connecting equipment to network cables and fax lines, and assisting in the warehouse when needed. Xerox provides comprehensive training, job shadowing, and ongoing career development training. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime. An annual DOT physical and drug screen may be required when operating a vehicle weighing over 10,000 pounds.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift 50–75 pounds and push, pull, or roll copiers on flat ground and inclines.
- Ability to use smartphones, tablets, GPS, and Google Maps when necessary.
- Experience using Microsoft applications and the Internet.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- No prior delivery driving experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities
- Operate an automatic box truck safely and on schedule, including daily vehicle inspections.
- Follow transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
- Load, deliver, install, and collect equipment at customer locations.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Provide basic customer training on copiers, printers, and other office technology equipment.
- Perform general technical tasks, including connecting equipment to network cables and fax lines.
- Assist in other warehouse areas when needed.
