Delivery Representative
About The Position
AmeriGas is hiring a seasonal, customer-focused Delivery Representative to deliver propane safely to residential, commercial, industrial, and motor fuel customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on provided local routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders. Representatives must follow applicable federal and state requirements and AmeriGas safety and operating procedures. Work may involve 8- to 12-hour shifts depending on fluctuating business needs, and employees should expect to work outdoors in all weather conditions. The position offers a $32.50 hourly rate, a $2,500 sign-on bonus, and home-every-day routes. Applications are accepted until November 30, 2026.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Willingness to work 8- to 12-hour shifts depending on fluctuating needs.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
- Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
- Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
- Perform daily functions safely while complying with federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
- Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
