Delivery Representative
About The Position
AmeriGas is hiring a seasonal Delivery Representative to deliver propane to customers while providing safe, customer-focused service. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on assigned routes, filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers. Representatives must follow applicable federal and state codes and regulations, AmeriGas safety and operations policies and procedures, and consistently use required personal protective equipment. Shifts may range from 8 to 12 hours depending on fluctuating business needs. The position is home every day and requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Willingness to work shifts of 8 to 12 hours depending on fluctuating needs.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
- Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
- Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
- Perform daily duties safely, adhering to federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
- Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
