About The Position

AmeriGas is hiring a seasonal, customer-focused Delivery Representative to deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on provided local routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Representatives must follow applicable federal and state codes and AmeriGas safety and operations policies, use required personal protective equipment, and be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Depending on fluctuating business needs, shifts may be 8 to 12 hours. The position is described as seasonal, with applications accepted until November 30, 2026.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Willingness to work 8 to 12-hour shifts depending on fluctuating needs.
• Must submit to pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check; if hired, subject to substance abuse testing in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
• Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
• Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
• Perform daily functions safely in accordance with federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
• Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
