About The Position

AmeriGas is hiring a safety-minded, customer-focused Delivery Representative to deliver propane to residential, commercial, industrial, and motor fuel customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on provided routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders. Representatives must follow applicable federal and state codes and regulations as well as AmeriGas safety and operations policies. The position may require working 8- to 12-hour shifts depending on fluctuating business needs, and employees are home every day. This posting describes the position as seasonal.

Requirements

Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
Acceptable driving record.
Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Willingness to work 8- to 12-hour shifts depending on fluctuating needs.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
Perform daily functions safely by adhering to federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
