Delivery Representative - CDL Required
About The Position
AmeriGas is hiring a safety-minded, customer-focused Delivery Representative to deliver propane to residential, commercial, industrial, and motor-fuel customers. The role involves operating a propane delivery truck on assigned routes, filling bulk tanks, and delivering propane cylinders. Employees must follow applicable federal and state regulations and AmeriGas safety and operations policies, and consistently use required personal protective equipment. Shifts may range from 8 to 12 hours, depending on business needs. The position is described as seasonal. Pay is listed as $36.00, with the possibility of performance-based bonuses or commissions depending on the position. Applications are accepted through November 30, 2026.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Willingness to work 8- to 12-hour shifts depending on fluctuating needs.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
- Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
- Deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial customers.
- Perform daily functions safely, adhering to federal and state codes and regulations and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
- Consistently use required personal protective equipment.
